Wedding Loans Will Be The Most Suitable Solution For All Your Money-Related Marriage Concerns

Wedding is a really memorable event for the groom and the bride along with their families and friends. This really is one of those days that you’ve been dreaming about your whole life and the question of finances is understandably necessary. Wedding loans can be the best solution, if you believe you can’t afford the wedding ceremony you have always wanted.

An average budget for a wedding is not that affordable. Everything must be special, from the wedding gown for the bride and her entourage up to the chapel accessories, the reception and catering you pick.

When the couple starts discussing about the expenditures, both sides might probably think about this moment as a financial challenge in their lives instead of a day filled with sweet memories. They have to consider the fact that finances are the most crucial element in this great moment. In truth, a great wedding ceremony will certainly require a lot of money.

An elegant wedding ceremony may not be possible without the help of a loan plus the funds for the wedding is not really very easy to get. Although a huge number of couples prepare for their very own weddings, it isn’t surprising that a wedding loan is considered as an integral element of most wedding ceremony plans today.

Loans can be processed for the couples to pay for all the necessary expenditures without worrying about the finances involved. These loans have simple payment policies, to make sure you or your partner wouldn’t have any huge issues on payment. You can also find cheap wedding loans that provide lower interest rates for inexpensive events.

Most of these financial options are available in the form of secured loans where it will require you to put a guarantee for the loan claim. They can also come in unsecured loan packages where your loan is offered to those who do not have a valuable possession to pledge for their loan. However, keep in mind that unsecured finance options have much higher interest rates than secured ones due to the absence of collateral.

Collateral is needed for a secured loan since it stands as a form of security to the loan provider for any payment problems on your side.

The wedding is filled with emotions and importance for those people who are getting married. However, don’t let feelings blind you from all your financial decisions. It’s also very important to be responsible or you might end up with a huge debt.

Bear in mind that the funds you acquire from your wedding loan should only be adequate for your needs. Do not get more than you could repay. It is smart to try to cut on the wedding costs anytime you can. Wedding planning

and so much more.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has agreed to remove restrictions on television ads in Canada by September 1, 2009. The current 12 minutes-per-hour restriction on commercial time is to be lifted and the advertising time will be market-driven.

“The commission considers it essential that broadcasters have the flexibility to maximize advertising revenues to respond to the negative impact of audience fragmentation,” said a statement.

The CRTC said the ability to have market-driven commercials will help with the increasing amount of competing television networks in Canada, and it will create more revenue.

MySpace is set to release names and data about registered sex offenders who use the popular social networking site. The information will be released to all the State Attorney Generals in the United States.

Last week Attorney Generals from eight U.S. states requested the information but MySpace said it would break federal privacy laws.

Sentinel Tech Holding Corp. along with MySpace teamed up to build a database of users who are sex offenders. They created “Sentinel Safe”, a program which shows names of the sex offenders and possible information that could help in future investigations.

“This is no different than an offline community,” Mike Angus, MySpace’s executive vice president said. “We’re trying to keep it safe.”

According to CNN, MySpace has removed over 7,000 accounts held by sex offenders.

Earlier, the U.S. government threatened to sue or shut down the company if it couldn’t provide all the names of the 7,000 or more sex offenders using the site.

Lobby groups oppose plans for EU copyright extension

Tuesday, February 26, 2008

The European Commission currently has proposals on the table to extend performers’ copyright terms. Described by Professor Martin Kretschmer as the “Beatles Extension Act”, the proposed measure would extend copyright from 50 to 95 years after recording. A vast number of classical tracks are at stake; the copyright on recordings from the fifties and early sixties is nearing its expiration date, after which it would normally enter the public domain or become ‘public property’. E.U. Commissioner for the Internal Market and Services Charlie McCreevy is proposing this extension, and if the other relevant Directorate Generales (Information Society, Consumers, Culture, Trade, Competition, etc.) agree with the proposal, it will be sent to the European Parliament.

Wikinews contacted Erik Josefsson, European Affairs Coordinator for the Electronic Frontier Foundation (E.F.F.), who invited us to Brussels, the heart of E.U. policy making, to discuss this new proposal and its implications. Expecting an office interview, we arrived to discover that the event was a party and meetup conveniently coinciding with FOSDEM 2008 (the Free and Open source Software Developers’ European Meeting). The meetup was in a sprawling city centre apartment festooned with E.F.F. flags and looked to be a party that would go on into the early hours of the morning with copious food and drink on tap. As more people showed up for the event it turned out that it was a truly international crowd, with guests from all over Europe.

Eddan Katz, the new International Affairs Director of the E.F.F., had come over from the U.S. to connect to the European E.F.F. network, and he gladly took part in our interview. Eddan Katz explained that the Electronic Frontier Foundation is “A non-profit organisation working to protect civil liberties and freedoms online. The E.F.F. has fought for information privacy rights online, in relation to both the government and companies who, with insufficient transparency, collect, aggregate and make abuse of information about individuals.” Another major focus of their advocacy is intellectual property, said Eddan: “The E.F.F. represents what would be the public interest, those parts of society that don’t have a concentration of power, that the private interests do have in terms of lobbying.”

Becky Hogge, Executive Director of the U.K.’s Open Rights Group (O.R.G.), joined our discussion as well. “The goals of the Open Rights Group are very simple: we speak up whenever we see civil, consumer or human rights being affected by the poor implementation or the poor regulation of new technologies,” Becky summarised. “In that sense, people call us -I mean the E.F.F. has been around, in internet years, since the beginning of time- but the Open Rights Group is often called the British E.F.F.“

Israeli ex-minister Yaakov Neeman dies aged 77

Tuesday, January 3, 2017

Yaakov Neeman, an Israeli politician who served as justice minister and finance minister under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, died in his Jerusalem home on Sunday. He was 77.

Born in 1939 in Tel Aviv, Neeman, alongside future President Chaim Herzog, founded law firm Herzog, Fox and Neeman in 1972. He was appointed finance minister in 1979, a position he held until 1981. He was later appointed justice minister by Netanyahu, based on his legal training and loyalty.

Unusually for a senior minister, he had never served in the Knesset. He held the job for two months before resigning; he was being investigated for perjury. Michael Ben-Yair, Attorney General of the day, launched the probe after Neeman testified at a bribery trial. Neeman was cleared.

Neeman regained the Justice Ministry post in 1997, resigning again the next year. He blamed insufficient support from Netanyahu and resumed law. In 2009 Netanyahu was reelected, again appointing Neeman minister of justice. In 2013 this role passed to the Hatnua party’s Tzipi Livni.

Neeman’s last resignation, in 2013, came as he was under investigation by the Israel Tax Authority for evading tax via his law company. The Tel Aviv Magistrates Court ultimately acquitted him.

Outside law and politics Neeman was also an industrialist. He worked with Israel Aircraft Industries, airline El Al, and the Israel Atomic Energy Commission. In 1986 he was credited as key to convincing business partner Herzog, who was then president, with pardoning members of the Israel Security Agency; after a bus was hijacked, security forces shot dead two Palestinians once the hijack had concluded.

Neeman specialised in tax law. A fluent English speaker, he had degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and New York University. His wife and six children survive him.

Current President Reuven Rivlin spoke of a good lawyer and advisor whose wisdom he had sought as recently as last week. “The entire Justice Department bows his head”, said current Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked. Herzog’s son Isaac Herzog, leader of the opposition Zionist Union, spoke of “a tender-hearted, broad-minded and generous man” who “was a mentor and close friend for tens of years.”

Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein said Neeman was “a unique figure in our public life, blessed with talent and pleasantness, who believed in his heritage and his people with his entire body.” Netanyahu called Neeman “one of the senior jurists in the country, of a sharp mind and a warm Jewish heart.”

Can Enforcing Law Is Enough To Stop Domestic Violence On Women?}

Can Enforcing Law Is Enough to Stop Domestic Violence on Women?

by

Lahiri Associates

Any kind of violence occurred by the family members on the female members come under the jurisdiction of domestic violence. A recent survey shows that once in a five minute a woman becomes victim of domestic violence in India. Some of the

human rights lawyer in Kolkata

has pointed out that the number can go much higher as number of cases remains unregistered. As per the law, even verbal abuse is also considered under the domestic violence. The Domestic Violence Act 2005 defines clearly that what can come under the domestic violence. Physical, mental or sexual, all different types of violence are included in the domestic violence. Domestic violence is a serious violation of human rights against the women.

There are different reasons being put forward by the activists behind the domestic violence. One of the significant reasons behind domestic violence in the country is the mindset of the people that women are weaker than the man is. According to the surveys, it has been found that nearly 70% of the Indian married women are the victims of domestic violence in some or different form such as beating, or rape. Dowry is still, remaining as one of the major causes behind the domestic violence. In addition to this arguing with spouse, refusing to have physical relation, going out of the house without informing are some of the biggest reasons of domestic violence. The overlooking of the in laws is another serious cause behind the domestic violence.

It has been also found that in the urban areas the women who earn more than the male partners are also some times become the victim of the domestic violence. In addition, they are also accused of neglecting the in laws and of being a forward one. It is not also very rare for a woman to become victimised due to failure of not conceiving a male child. Public humiliation, punching and slapping are also some of the different forms of physical violence against the women.

It is a serious matter of concern, that despite of several laws still nearly 18 lakhs of girl children has to die in last two decades. So it is important to think that why the domestic violence cannot be stopped. The answer is very simple that it only can be stopped by changing our mentality. One of

best civil lawyer in Kolkata

has mentioned, We generally blame the victim of domestic violence instead of the violator. It is necessary to spot out the people who can do domestic violence only then it is possible to stop such violence. It has been seen that 79% of men who abused a woman verbally can have the chance to abuse her physically too. It is a fact that mostly the victims do not have the courage to rescue themselves from being victimised and here the society must step forward to rescue. However, the society remains silent on this issue generally except from some NGOs or some other activists.

There are activists who pointed out that one of the main reason of being failure to stop domestic violence is that most of the victim remain silent over the violence occurs on them. They feel that if they will talk about the violence publically then again they might become victimised. In addition, the orthodox mind setup of the Indian patriarchal society is another barrier for the victims to talk about the domestic violence. Another problem that occurs in order to stop the domestic violence is that the free society cannot enforce any kind of prevention like the one a person cannot be arrested on the ground that he can commit a crime.

Another reason that is coming forward in India for failing to stop domestic violence is the social obligations related to love marriages. When the girl use to marry a boy without the consent of her family and later becomes the victim of domestic violence, they cannot even go back to their natal family. So they have to suffer the violence silently. Most importantly, the victims of the domestic violence are unknown of the basic human rights due to the lack of proper education.

Therefore, it is necessary that the law must be enforced with more strictness and the common people especially the woman must be aware of the basic human rights. Only a proper education can kill the demon of this domestic violence completely.

Locally designed, low emissions car launched in Qatar

Friday, November 30, 2012

Qatari non-profit organization Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD) launched a low emissions car at the 2012 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 18) in Doha. The car was designed and developed in Qatar.

Revealed during a press conference at the Qatar National Convention Centre, the car in addition to an internal combustion engine, includes an automotive thermoelectric generator designed to capture waste heat to produce hydrogen. GORD expects the heat waste collecting system to be compatible with any gasoline or compressed natural gas car.

GORD chairman Dr Al-Horr summarised the key concepts of the invention in a statement saying, “Our car produces electricity at no cost by capturing thermal waste energy, reducing costs and eliminating the need for an external source of electricity. Also, bulky compressed-hydrogen cylinders are a thing of the past, as our concept accomplishes the production of hydrogen by using water through fuel cells integrated within the car.”

Most of the energy in Qatari vehicle comes from the the car’s gasoline tank, supplemented by a thin film photo-voltaic panel on the roof. Normally in a combustion engine, chemical energy stored in a fuel, such as gasoline, is converted into heat energy through combustion. This heat energy is then converted into mechanical energy, manifested as an increase in pressure in the combustion chamber due to the kinetic energy of the combustion gases. The kinetic energy of these combustion gases are then converted into work; because of the inefficiencies in converting chemical energy into useful work, internal combustion engines have a theoretical maximum effiecincy of 37% (with what is achievable in day to day applications being about half of this). Of the chemical energy in the consumed fuel used by an internal combustion engine 40% is dissipated as waste heat. However, the Qatari vehicle uses a thermoelectric generator to convert this waste heat into electricity. Such generators are used in space vehicles, and produce electricity when thermoelectric materials are subjected to a temperature gradient, the greater the gradient the greater the amount of electrcity produced. In the GORD vehicle the electricity produced is used to electrolyse potable water to produce hydrogen which can be introduced into the vehicle’s existing fuel system.

The researchers showed that the heat waste collection engine caused a decrease in the car’s emissions, including a decrease of carbon monoxide and nitrous oxide emissions by more than 50%, the fuel efficiency increasing by 20%. On its website, GORD said that the heat waste collector engine is universal, “Any car can be adapted to accommodate the system as it doesn’t alter any electro-mechanical systems”.

Adam and his brother Peter, also a former professional footballer, were in the accident after failure of a tire on the BMW X5 Adam was reportedly driving. India set to install panic buttons on buses to combat sexual assault

Friday, May 27, 2016

The Indian Government announced on Wednesday they will issue a notification to ensure all buses are fitted with panic buttons to prevent sex-related violence occurring on buses in India. The motion was introduced by Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. Installation of the buttons is set to become mandatory on June 2.

Tests are under way on 20 buses running from Rajasthan to New Delhi. Buses are to have panic buttons, a GPS-enabled vehicle tracking device, and CCTV cameras. The new buttons are located at the front doors and when pressed, a police control room has the ability to view live footage recorded inside the bus.

Last month, the government announced that as of 2017, mobile phones can’t be sold in India without a panic button. With the press of a single key, the panic button alerts emergency services that assistance is required.

Since a fatal sexual assault three and a half years ago on a bus in New Delhi, accompanied by increased rates of sexual assault, the government has been pressured to help women avoid the dangers of sexual assault. The bus sexual assault three and a half years ago resulted in India-wide protests, and laws regarding sexual assault were overhauled.

According to India’s National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), in 2014 New Delhi reported 1,813 rapes, more than any other Indian city. In more than 80% of rapes across India, the victim knew the rapist. In data from 2013, the rapists in 539 cases were parents, in 2,315 cases other relatives.

In 2012 the NCRB said the country had 24,923 reported rapes. However, this number grew over the following year, with 2013 seeing 33,707 reported.

In 2013, NCRB said New Delhi saw 1,636 rapes reported, with an Indian average of 92 women per day. The New Delhi cases alone account for more than four per day.
